I have made a plea for you in the deletions complaint thread, and have received
a response, I have no way of arguing any further as it is already clear, you did
not make enough effort and the recent submissions have been in fact, after i
look closely as i went through all your scans, poor, it is in need of a lot of
work. and many of them are nothing more than smudge and blur rather than proper
cleanup. I would suggest that you do not do so again in the future. Just a
friendly advise.

which I m rather surprised why it wasn't allowed.
looks like policy did not entirely state the whole thing clear enough. It did
not mention that scans resized by others falls under one's responsibility as the
submitter's.
It was rather quick judgement IMO, but i cannot do much, I am sorry.

Are you referring to this
scan? (Sorry, I've never seen My-Hime so I'm not exactly sure which girl is
Mai.) If so, I would argue that image is definately sized up from a smaller
source for reasons I stated earlier - thick blurry outlines. An outline should
be very crisp and sharp, but that scan the edges of the outline are soft and
fuzzy, typical signs of a scale-up.

ones that count in regards to a scan's fate is that of the moderator who decides
whether to keep it or remove it. And they have very strict standards, far
stricter than your average Minitokyo member. Their mission is to make Minitokyo
an archive of very large, very high quality scans and will nix anything that
doesn't meet the rquirements. Think of it like the Marines - "the few, the
proud, the Marines" - only the best of scans will remain. Of course, this
is a subjective measure, but the moderators have been chosen for their ability
to spot and differentiate high quality and average/low quality scans.
I won't judge whether you deserved the restricted status or not, as that is
again in the eyes of the moderator, but I will say it IS standard procedure to
restrict a member after their second warning; receiving a third warning will
result in a ban.

they have been resized (perhaps by someone in the past before they posted them
elsewhere on the internet) then it counts as the same thing. Miinitokyo does not
allow for scaled-up scans regardless of who does the resizing if it denigrates
the image quality enough that it is not considered a wallable picture. This is
the case in some of the My-Hime scans you posted and remarked upon in the
Complation/Deletes thread (such as this scan, this one and this one - all three
exihibit signs of scaling up: thick, blurry outlines, excessive jpeg artifacts,
and the like. This is why they were quarantined.
