Okay, as far as updates go, all I could find was updates on the game that was
recently released on april 11, 2006. Game was released from Bandai and
supposedly isn't that great. I've haven't personally played it, but it's
supposed to be pretty good, excluding the graphics...
The Good: A delightfully weird sense of style; story and dialogue seem right at
home with the anime's sensibilities; combining the music with the combo system
makes the combat more interesting; three full storylines to play through.
The Bad: Combat remains button-mashy and easy at practically all times; graphics
aren't very impressive technically; pacing will drive some people crazy.
As far as a movie goes, I don't think there's going to be one. Who knows. Cowboy
bebop ended without any updates or follow threws untill a year after...
The layout looks awesome dianas. I added some
more pictures and descriptions of the characters. Hopefully the ppl who aren't
familiar with the series will get an idea of what it's about.
There will be more to come so be on the look out.
Here's some news for all the
samuraichamploo-group fans...
January 10, 2006 - Bandai today revealed a few
more details on Samurai Champloo: Sidetracked, the forthcoming hack-and-slasher
based on the popular Adult Swim series of the same name. The game will take
place as something of a "lost episode" from the series, with gamers
able to take on the role of one of three characters: Mugen, a samurai with a
break-dancing fighting style, the Bushido-abiding Jin, or a new, mysterious
character who will be introduced in the game.
With two new fighting types, Tate and Trance.
When players fill the tension gauge, which is done by completing a series of
combos, the gamer will enter Tate and be faced with a single opponent in front
of a vibrant Japanese screen. Tate will then require the player to initiate a
series of buttons in order to maintain Tate, which upon completing will enter
them into Trance.
Once in the Trance state, the background will
morph into a number of silhouettes and an onslaught of enemies will attach the
player. They then must cut down enemy after enemy until the onslaught ends, and
if the player is able to survive, they'll be rewarded with a new weapon or
item.
Samurai Champloo: Sidetracked is currently
scheduled for a March 2006 release on the PlayStation 2.
Hmm. That's not bad. Be careful with those auctions though. There's a bad
reputation about items not being recieved or described correctly. But, now and
days I haven't been spending much on anime.
Quote by shoujoboy2005- Around $500 a
month on anime.
2006- Maybe $100 a month as I've realized my savings is in the toilet and nobody
needs 900 DVD's. But it seems now I've just funneled the remaining money to
other hobbies so I'm screwed either way.
I don't think I spend that much on anime every month lol. I spent around $20-$40
every two months or so.
but yea, i am actually kinda spaztic in my buyings. I can spend upwards of 100
bucks just from one visit to bestbuy or I can get away with not buying anything
for a while. Generally speaking I try to stick to anime boxsets.
Wow. I know I used to spend a lot on anime. Well, in the first place, anime
isn't cheap. One season ranges from $30 to $35 depending on the anime your
purchasing.
Quote by KatzbalgerEven if you get
banned, your acount stays on MT. Just DONT VISIT
ANYMORE.
That'll do the trick
Thnx for the info sport......
Anyways, nah man. That's not it. Just having problems here. Gonna' be off the
net for a while. You guys are cool. I like the scans, too. Just to much goin'
on. Just didn't want to leave my account open anymore and have everybody
wondering why I've been inactive.
Sometimes I get reminded of some animes when I look at the sky. I guess because
most animes I've watched in the past have had a connection with the sky. Or, in
my opinion, I think most animes have a big connection with the sky.
I do believe though, if it weren't for the media things would be different.
People can't see people for who they are and not what they look like. If someone
wants to be skinny then, it's what they prefer. If you don't like how other
people look like then, don't look. I just have a slight problem with lazy
people. If you're lazy therefore fat then, no one should have pity you.
Okay... I'm just going to say what's on my mind about this question. I don't
like women who are, too thin. Neither do I like women if their, too fat. I like
women that have some weight. If they're someone who sits and eats all day
long... That's what I find wrong and disgusting. There's different kind of
women. Now, I don't want to offend the one's who are fat or whatever you want to
call it... Sometimes women are born with that kind of gene or whatever in them
so, it's not their fault. I'm not the type that is like all buff and all but, I
am built to the point where I would call it healthy. I think the thing I like
most about women is their personality because, they could be all hot and all
but, if their personality is dull and boring then, to me, that's a turn off.
Hope that answers your question.
I think the credit system needs to go. If they could replace it with another
system that would be absolutely great. Somthing like this... Everyone's credits
are restored everyday to a minimum of around 5 downloads. When you post a
comment based on how it's helping the artist then you gain another download the
next day. They just keep rolling over to the next day until you use all of your
downloads. If you're spaming you will be suspended or giving a warning... I hate
spamming so that would be great. I wouldn't want someone cumming to my scans or
wallpapers and saying "nice scan", just for a download. Hehe.... Now
watch.. Someday they're going to start charging for credits. $1 per download.
They need to inprove it a lot better.
I don't like the new minitokyo. The whole credit thing is ridiculous. How can
you contribute to the community if it's a difficult. Okay... I think I'm going
to give to the community... I really like minitokyo.. Oh... That's right . ..
.... .. I don't have any credits to spend to contribute to the community........
... .... It's absolutely ridiculous. People have lives. I'm always busy but, I
like the things minitokyo have done. But, the whole credit system is pathetic.
I'm always busy so it's hard to give to the community if I don't have time to
attain any pathetic credits. I still want to submit scans but, I can't submit
scans if I don't have any credits..... Something needs to be done about the
credit system.

Why don't I have a skin builder option in my group?
Why don't I have a skin builder option in my group? Also, why can't people join my group? There's no option anywhere to apply for the group.

Spends in as money.
I was just curious to how much the average anime/manga fan spends on anime every week or month.

Hey, and welcome. Eventhough there is a lot of other art communities, I think that minitokyo has a little bit more of walls and scans.

I also forgot to mention megaman, and zero.
I went threw alot of them. I think the one I mostly stuck with was sonic the hedgehog, and knuckes the echidna.
